I can always count on Paina to satisfy my craving for Hawaiian food. I love their poke bowls, particularly the poke crunch bowl and Paina bowl. The garlic chicken is my favorite thing on the menu -- plenty of big, crispy chunks of fried chicken covered in their garlic shoyu sauce and served with two scoops of rice. Their bento box is delicious too if you can't decide what to get. It's got some garlic chicken, teriyaki beef, and Portuguese sausage. This location is off of Blue Diamond, in the same plaza as EOS Fitness. Parking can be tough to come by during peak gym hours.

I really love their poke. The spicy ahi is my favorite, but the other ahi and salmon poke are fire as well. The mochi donuts are fantastic. They have the sweetness of a donut, the different flavors are a great, and they aren't too filling so you don't fell shame after you eat 2. The only thing I don't like I've noticed, they don't weigh the poke, they charge by container size. So you may get more or you may get less, it's hard to eyeball ounces. But still, this is the best spicy ahi poke I've ever had. And I've lived in Hawaii. And they do have a Hawaiian location. The original location. Aloha.

Can't believe I haven't reviewed this spot yet, I go at least once a month for their delicious chewy mochi donuts. They post their weekly rotation of flavors on their IG and keep an eye out for my fav: Mango. I've had their poke a couple times always fresh! You can order online too for easy pickup

The first meal of the trip. It's a bit harder to find poke where we live now, so we made sure to get some here. I went with the poke crunch with spicy ahi poke. Oh, did it hit the spot. About as close to home as we'll get for now. I loved the crispy tempura flakes on it & that teri glaze, yum. It's jus extra good when you haven't had poke in a long time. Place was very clean & service was great. We made sure to make another stop before leaving.
